Top 5 Social Apps on Android in Austria Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the social app landscape in Austria saw some interesting trends across the top five Android apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

TikTok from TikTok Pte. Ltd. demonstrated a robust increase in weekly revenue, beginning at around $436K and climbing steadily to approximately $649K by the end of September. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated, starting from about 7K and dipping to 4.4K before recovering to 7K. As for weekly active users, the numbers hovered around 600K, with a slight decline mid-quarter but closing strong at 593K.

LOVOO - Dating App & Chat App observed a more varied revenue trend, beginning at approximately $15.8K and closing the quarter at $15.5K, after some fluctuations. Downloads peaked at 1.3K in late July, but gradually fell to around 566 by the end of the quarter. Active users started at 23.1K, with a slow decline to 20.6K by September's end.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat experienced a mixed revenue performance, starting at $6.2K, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at $5.7K. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 157 to 243 throughout the quarter. Its weekly active users remained fairly constant, with minor fluctuations around the 4K mark.

SoulChill - Voice Chat & Party showed a significant revenue increase, beginning at $3.8K and peaking at $7.4K by the end of September. Downloads were stable, around 200 to 260, while active users increased from 684 to 784 during the quarter.

Tango- Live Stream, Video Chat saw weekly revenue fluctuate, starting at $2.7K, peaking mid-quarter, and then leveling off at $2.8K. Downloads showed a positive trend, starting at 399 and reaching 926 by quarter's end. Active users grew steadily from 3K to 4.8K.
